Meet Copper
Look at these big brown eyes! Copper is a sweet, easygoing dog who enjoyshis walks, whether hes out on his own or strolling with a calm caninefriend. He has a good history living with children, is social with people, and makes a reliable walking buddy. Copper is both housetrained and cratetrained and tends to do well with gentle, relaxed dog companions.
He is looking for a relaxed home where he can settle in, learn a newroutine, and feel supported as he adjusts. Copper has not lived withanother dog and has experience living with cats. He could live with bothagain given a thoughtful introduction. Copper has lived with multiplechildren in the past and could do so again with kids who can follow hisbehavior plan and practice petting consent.
If you think Copper could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Nevins Farm Adoption Center in Methuen. We have open adoption hours Tuesday – Sunday from 12:00 pm – 4:30 pm with no appointment or application needed.
Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
