This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Looking for Luck with Love! In an effort to help some of our long posted dogs find the loving homes they deserve, we are reducing their adoption fee to $333. We are hoping you don’t have to be Irish to have luck this month :). Their adopters will be the lucky ones!

Meet Corrina Class - a 13 month old, Hound mix, who weighs 45 pounds (as of 3/4/25). This sweet pup was surrendered with two siblings after being dumped in a yard. How have they been waiting for more than EIGHT MONTHS to find their forever families? We added back in one of the original pictures from this pups posting so you could see the cuteness. No puppy should have to grow up in rescue like this :(

Her foster shares: "Corrina Class is an active girl who is a girl on the go and loves to stay busy ! She gets along with other dogs and people... this girl makes new friends everywhere she goes! Since she is still a pup, she will need a family who is committed to training. This girl is an absolute sweetheart who would do well with an active family that would like to bring her along on adventures! She is a great gal who is patiently waiting for a family to call her own!"

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
