Meet Junior
Take a look at this handsome boy! And what mesmerizing eyes!! Junior has it in him to become the most amazing pet. He is oh so smart and loves to train. Once he knows you, he is very snuggly. He has beautiful leash walking manners and loves other dogs. The thing is, Junior was raised in a very sad situation. He will need a patient adopter who will keep things safe and predictable while he settles in. While he is mostly house trained, Junior still needs to learn everything else a dog needs to know. And he will try to learn it because what he wants most is your time and affection and your touch. Junior absolutely melts when you rub his shoulders just right. Junior could possibly live with another dog or cat, using some management. And children old enough to allow Junior his own space might work. Junior needs a family to turn his sad story into something wonderful. Do you think you are that family?
If you think Junior could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Nevins Farm Adoption Center in Methuen. We have open adoption hours Tuesday – Sunday from 12:00 pm – 4:30 pm with no appointment or application needed.
Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
