Meet Brennan
Meet 5 year old Brennan! Brennan came to the MSPCA after his most recent family worked hard to support his separation anxiety in their home, but ultimately made the difficult decision with his best interest in mind to look for rehoming services through us. Brennans previous home shared much about the last few years of his life with our behavior team, which helps us be able to paint a picture for what a future adopter may be able to expect in transitioning him home and starting a new routine for him. Our staff is excited to share A to Z on Brennan- while a complex guy, there is so much to love about this funny fella!
Brennan is all things GOOD! He loves looking out the window, car rides with his people (this must require his nose being out the window to ensure he gets the good sniffs), rolling around on the rug, belly and ear scritches, and playing scent and treat based games. His previous family described him as playful and goofy, and said he often will pacify himself when they come home by putting a toy in his mouth and doing small little muffled howls. Brennan enjoys other dogs and kids, though he has never met a cat. Given his gentle personality, it is possible he could live with a cat in a future home so long as the adopters take the introduction slowly.
As you can imagine, shelter life is not so fun for a guy like Brennan who would rather be with his people more often than not. If you are looking for your future shadow, look no further! Brennan is ready and waiting for you to head over to Methuen to learn more!
If you think Brennan could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Nevins Farm Adoption Center in Methuen. We have open adoption hours Tuesday – Sunday from 12:00 pm – 4:30 pm with no appointment or application needed.
Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
