Well hello there, I'm Alvin. I'm a 3 year old, 7 lbs., neutered male Chihuahua mix that just so happens to be a big dog in a teeny tiny body. I absolutely love playing and running zoomies in the yard, I am energy personified but once I run through my excitement, I will sit down with you to receive some much expected adoration. I am a prince among dogs after all! I am a sassy little man that can be a bit too much for other dog so I would love to go home as the only dog (I mean I'm perfect, so you only need me) with a family with kids 6+ ready to help me work on my doggy social skills. I'm an outgoing guy who loves being around my favorite person, so if you are looking for the perfect purse dog, here I am.

You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
