So very nice to meet you, I'm Stallone! I'm a 11 year old, 8lbs., neutered male chihuahua mix. Like my famous namesake Sylvester Stallone once said "Just because society says I'm old, doesn't mean that I am. I'm pursuing happiness." I'm a sweet and outgoing little man with tons of love to give and lots of fun yet to have. I prefer to be around people, but I get along with small, calm dogs like myself; playful young dogs are too much for me. I can't wait to find that perfect family looking for the perfect boy like me. Stallone is the sweetest little old man you'd ever want to meet and a total love bug. He loves people, cheddar cheese, snuggling, and being cozy in blankets - you can even find him burrowing and tucking himself in. But his love of all things cozy and his age doesn't mean he isn't an active guy - he's got a pep in his step for sure. He loves walks and does great on a leash, and can interact with other dogs without issue. Because he's missing teeth, his little tongue often sticks out which gives him the cutest facial expressions.

You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
