Meet Mateyo
Say Hello to Mateyo! This sensitive, older gentleman is ready to head off to his new home where he can enjoy relaxed, sniffy walks and low-key time at home (once he’s comfortable with his friends, he loves butt scratches!). As a shy guy that has been through a lot of big changes recently, Mateyo is looking for a lower traffic home where he can settle in at his own pace and show off his sweet and silly sides to his new family. Mateyo lived with another dog in his previous home, but has sometimes been worried when meeting new dog friends – he could potentially go home to a well-matched, confident helper dog who could help show him the ropes. (We would recommend doing a meet with your resident dog as part of our process!)
