Meet the CINDY pups! These adorable puppies are 10 months old, and we think they are Border Collie / Shepherd mixes. Garth Cindy weighed 55 lbs as of 7/29/25.
Update from his foster: Garth is a 10-month-old BorderCollie/Shepherd mix who’s ready to find his forever family!
This happy, well-mannered pup is house trained and crate trained. He loves spending time with both people and other dogs.
While he hasn’t had much exposure to small children yet, his sweet and patient temperament makes his foster think he’d do well with them too.
Garth walks nicely on leash and is a quick learner. He is eager to please and soaks up praise and pets. He enjoys car rides and is always up for a little adventure — whether it’s a walk in the park or tagging along on errands.
After a fun day, Garth loves nothing more than curling up beside his humans for some well-deserved cuddles.
Garth Cindy and his siblings are your typical happy-go-lucky and lovable puppies! They are well socialized, and love playing with kids. Garth Cindy gets along with dogs and cats!
They are always on the go and eager to explore. These guys will have no problem adapting to their forever families. They are ready for a lifetime of love!
Garth's enthusiasm is infectious; he can turn any dull day into a joyful adventure. His friendliness and playful nature make him a wonderful companion. Adopt Garth and bring home not just a pet, but a bundle of happiness, a partner in fun, and a forever friend.
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.
Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.
