Meet Clover - a 2 year old, Bernese Mountain Dog / Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix, who weighs about 60 pounds (as of 10/16/25). This boy was previously living with a loving family who unfortunately had to surrender him due to circumstances at home, and now he's looking for his forever family!

Clover is an adventurous guy who loves going for long walks and running around beaches off leash! He's super friendly and is great with other dogs (previously went to doggy daycare multiple times a week), and loves to go for car rides. He is housebroken and walks well on his leash, too. We'd recommend a a child-free home for Clover because he does not like sharing toys with tiny humans and also prefers to dine solo. Clover will need to find a family who are experienced dog owners to continue his training. He's a handsome guy who has lots of love to give and can't wait to start his new chapter!

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
