Meet Tuna
My adoption fee will be waived from 10/14-10/19 during our CREEP IT REAL and ADOPT A NEW BOO adoption event!
This pretty Westie is Tuna. This easy going gal loves hanging out with her people and lounging in the sun. She is even crate trained. Tuna is a dog who is a bit worried about new people and places. She is hoping for a patient adopter who will go at her pace and let Tuna settle in her new world. They will watch Tunas body language and help her out when she is uncomfortable. In her previous home, Tuna lived with children between the ages of 2 and 10. That would probably work again as long as the kids can give her space when needed. She has met cats in her previous life and did pretty well. And she could possibly live with a mellow dog friend. Tuna recently had an amputation, so she will need extra love and support. Could you provide that? Do you think she is the dog for you?
If you think Tuna could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Nevins Farm Adoption Center in Methuen. We have open adoption hours Tuesday – Sunday from 12:00 pm – 4:30 pm with no appointment or application needed.
Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
