Meet Major Pumpkin - a 4.5 month old, Lab / Hound mix (with possibly some Wirehaired Terrier) , who weighs about 30 pounds (as of 10/8/25). Major Pumpkin and his siblings were found as strays in Tennessee. The litter includes Major Pumpkin, Rubble Pumpkin, Brownie Pumpkin, Ginger Pumpkin and Scruffy Pumpkin - from the looks of it, it seems they had different dads. These pups are happy, healthy and ready to find their forever families!

Major Pumpkin is a fun guy who is ready for his forever family! He is super active and loves to play. He's a social butterfly who is super friendly. He's still young and will need a family who is committed to his training, but the good news is that he is the perfect age to learn all of his perfect dog manners!

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
