Slate is a gorgeous gal with big puppy feelings about the world. She came into our shelter with her siblings and suffering from a sickness called, parvovirus. She and her siblings survived - making them little warriors and incredible survivors! While in isolation receiving treatment, they understandably got a bit stir crazy and Slate was seen defending the food bowls from her siblings. While Slate may not like sharing her favorite things, she loves exploring new people that go slow! If you are willing to help her bloom this little pup is bursting with a desire to learn and grow! Slate is hoping to find her new home with people that are ready to slowly explore, and let her gain confidence in her own time with gentle encouragement, lots of snacks and of course all the puppy kisses - if that seems like a match come on in today.
