Just look at this sweet face! Gus is a gentle, observant dog who would lovea lower-traffic home and a steady canine friend to help show him the ropes.He enjoys spending time in quiet areas where he can take in hissurroundings at his own pace.
He is looking for a calm, supportive environment where he can decompressand adjust to his new life. Gus will do best with an adopter who ispatient, willing to learn his signals, and able to advocate for him as hebuilds confidence. Moving at his pace will be key to helping him settle inand feel secure.
With a thoughtful transition, Gus could potentially live with a cat or achild. Children should be able to participate in and follow his trainingplan.

Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
