This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Meet Elodie Eden - a 3 - 3 1/2 year old, 35 pound, American Bulldog mix gal from Mississippi.

Elodie Eden is such a special dog - who only wants to love and be loved! Elodie Eden is everyone's favorite girl here right now. This pup has so much personality - she is incredibly friendly with a goofy side to her. And she gives the best kisses!

Elodie Eden enjoys getting attention from everyone - and she doesn't mind if you give her a treat when you say hello. When she meets a new person she will lean in for extra snuggles and back scratches. She is mostly a calm gal - but then has small spurt of the zoomies which are so adorable.

She absolutely adores children and would love a home with her own kids to play with and love.

Elodie Eden enjoys just being by your side and rubbing up against you. She absolutely loves all dogs and really enjoyed playing outside with them. They play, wrestle, toss around a toy, and have a grand time! Cats are a different story though - she will chase them so we suggest a cat free home.

She does well on a leash, and has not had any accidents using a doggie door.

This gal really is the full package - and adorable to boot!!

Elodie was treated for Heartworm down south but her full treatment is completed. She won't need anything additional for this other than the monthly heartworm prevention that any dog requires.

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
