This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Meet Brownie Angel Momma - An adorable 1 year old Lab/Terrier/Mountain Cur mix gal. Brownie weighs 27 pounds at the time of posting on 9/11/25. So she is going to stay the most perfect size!!

Brownie Angel Momma came into rescue with two puppies. And it is her turn to find her forever family!

This dog is the full package! She is absolutely amazing with other dogs and LOVES all people. She is outgoing and friendly when meeting people - no one seems like a stranger to her. And she loves kids especially! She is super attention motivated - so if you pet her you have a friend for life. She is playful but also chill - medium energy is kind of how she rolls. She is good on a leash and in her crate, and hasn't had any accidents using the doggie door.

Oh and of course - she is incredibly cute too! But you already know that!!

Her middle name is Angel for a reason! And maybe she can be your angel!

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
