Are you ready to meet Muttville’s most flexible new pup? Meet Yoga, the stunning sensation that has just found her way to our hallowed halls. This sprightly 15-year-old terrier has been bobbing around Muttville with the deep inner zen of only the most prolific yogis. As someone who is deeply meditative, where Yoga is is exactly where she wants to be, but she knows her true nirvana will be finding her forever family. Her most impressive form of yoga, though? Tongue yoga! Yes, you heard that right – this mutt has one of the longest tongues we at Muttville have ever seen, and, due to a missing lower jaw, it lolls out of her mouth with a truly astonishing flexibility. Although we haven’t seen it, we suspect that Yoga could touch her nose (heck, even her eyebrows!), and THAT would be truly something to behold. If you are looking for the epitome of peace and grace in a mutt, come do some downward dog with Yoga today! Here’s some notes from her foster:Yoga has been such a lovely houseguest so far. She hangs out in our home with our dog and 2 cats. As she’s settled in, she’s graduated herself from dog bed, couch, and now our bed as her favorite spots to lounge. She was a little nervous day one, so we gave her space of her own in an office and by day two, she wanted to hang out with everyone!Despite her lack of jaw, she likes to eat! She’s perfectly content with just food for dogs chicken flavor and will ask for a bite of human meals in hopes that you’ll say yes (we have politely ignored her ). She does quite well eating on her own and is also great when being hand fed.I believe she’s likely potty trained! We had a few accidents to start, especially as she was getting adjusted, and she hasn’t had any in a few days now. She also does a flight of stairs no problem and likes to trot right behind her humans on walks. We’ve also left her alone for a few hours when we went out for dinner and she would switch between sitting and waiting and walking through our house just to make sure she didn’t miss you coming back. Her hearing also seems to be good!
