These pups don't just shine.... They SPARKLE!
Meet the SPARKLE pups - Susie, Sissy and Sassy! They are 10 week old, Heeler mix pups, who weigh about 10 pounds (as of 8/20/25).
They are playful, friendly and oh-so- sweet. They love to play and chase each other with their little legs. They are so curious they love exploring the outdoors. The girls get along great with other dogs and adore children, too. They are fabulous munchkins that will be a great addition to any home!
Her foster shares: She’s the calmer of the two sisters, and definitely less feisty.
They love love love to play and explore, but also want to be with their human. Once she’s played out, she likes to snuggle.
We are working on potty training and basic commands but any family adopting should know they are young puppies and will need to put in the work and effort that a puppy requires.
They aren’t mouthy at all - they chew toys and maybe try to get your shoes but they are not mouthy at all toward me / people.
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.
Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.
