Meet Gracie Momma Storm - a 3 year old, Anatolian Shepherd / Great Pyrenees mix, who weighs about 80 pounds (as of 8/16/25). This gentle giant was found. as a stray in Tennessee wile she was pregnant. Her rescuers were kind enough to take in her as well as another male stray they found, and also took care of her pups once they were born. These people are saints! Gracie Momma Storm was an amazing momma and now it's time for her to start her next chapter!

Her foster shares: "Gracie is a sweet & shy girl who is ready to have her own life in a loving family. Once she has settled in with you, she will be a very loyal companion. Gracie would love to find a home with a back yard or the opportunity to spend time outside because she loves the outdoors! She has not had any accidents in the house and has done well with other dogs, too. She is such a sweetheart. If you like giant breed fluffy dogs, we know you will love Miss Gracie!"

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.

Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
