Meet Norbert
My adoption fee will be waived from August 19 – 24 as part of the MUTT-CHKINS ADOPTION EVENT !!!
Norbert is a handsome 6 year old husky on the hunt for his new home! Norbert originally came to us on a transport from another shelter, so we don’t have a lot of history on him, but so far he has shown himself to be a friendly and mellow guy that loves to stay active – including nice, long walks, romping around in a yard, and training with lots of snacks! Norbert has been selective with his dog friends at the shelter, sometimes wanting to keep his distance, so if adopters have a low-key dog that might be a good companion for him, we would recommend doing a dog meet on-campus as part of his adoption process. Norbert does not have a history of living with cats, but might be able to go home with a dog-savvy cat with complete separation to start and a gradual introduction.
Stop by our Cape Cod Adoption Center to meet Norbert. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 1pm-4pm – no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.
Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
