Soft, sweet and a little bit squishy - just like everyone's favorite marshmallow treat!

Meet Petey Peep - a 7 1/2 month old, Black Mouth Cur / Bloodhound mix, who weighs 60 pounds (as of 8/14/25).

UPDATE from his foster: Petey is so easy going! He's learning how to walk like a gentlemen on leash. If he pulls a little his foster immediately stops and then he does too and walks with ease, he's such a quick learner!
He is almost house trained. He now only has an accident if he drinks too much water. His only “flaw” might be that he snores like a grown up man with sleep apnea but I think it is adorable.
This update comes just 3 days after moving into a local foster after living 100% outdoors up until this point! This shows that Petey is eager to please and really wants to be the best indoor dog he can be! He's thriving!

His foster shares: "Petey Peep is a big, sweet and clumsy boy. He resembles a Bloodhound mix but we aren't 100% sure - either way, we know he is 100% cute! He is so beautiful with his light fawn coat and has has a wonderful personality. He's the sweetest guy and is just a giant love bug. He loves playing with kiddos and other pups, and is simply irresistible with his puppy dog eyes. He's ok with cats and seems to be housebroken. He will be a wonderful companion and / or loving addition to one lucky family!"

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.
