Every day with the CHESHIRE litter feels like you're living in Wonderland!

The Cheshire litter are a bunch of 7 months old, Lab mix pups, City Lights Cheshire currently weighs 34 pounds (as of 7/17/25). We rescued their momma while she was pregnant, so these babies were born and raised with us and have been absolutely spoiled with love and affection.

Her foster shares: She’s been a total joy to foster so far, energetic, playful, and incredibly sweet. She gets along great with both people (2 adults and 2 teens) and the other dogs in our home. She recently met many children at an event and she did great! She’s got a wonderful balance of puppy energy and lovingness, and she loves a good game of tug or some friendly roughhousing with our more energetic pup. She’s doing great on walks and is working on her manners. She hasn’t had any bathroom accidents indoors, and sleeps through the night in her crate.

City Lights is incredibly affectionate and seems like she’d thrive in just about any environment. She’s happy to go wherever you go and is always ready to give kisses. She’s going to make someone very, very happy.

City lights will light up your whole day with her sunny personality and goofy sense of adventure. She has little legs ( who doesn’t love a low rider). City lights is a lover of everyone she meets, even though she was left behind while her littermates found their own homes, she knew if she waited her perfect family would find her. She is wonderful with little people often following the Foster’s grandchildren around for extra back scratches. City loves a good nap in the sun, rolling in the grass or curling up in the couch with you for a relaxing afternoon. She gets along great with every dog she meets and will do wonderful in a home with a resident dog.

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
