Our sweet boy Stevie has a superpower: He can recognize a true friend and fall in love without ever seeing you. We quickly learned when he came to us that he's blind, but he's always been affectionate, confident, and ready for a walk with his many admirers at the shelter. Stevie will give you a kiss and then pop back on his stroll around the play yard, alert to the possibility of a treat or the approach of a visitor. When he's not familiar with an enclosed space he definitely bumps into things, but his cheerful nature shows everyone he's not easily discouraged. He has an adorable prancing style of walking that makes us think he's trying out for a mascot role with the Lipizzan stallions show in Vienna. Stevie needs a family who understands the challenges -- not limits -- of living with a blind pet, and will commit to his happiness, because he has so much to give right back.
