Hello there, my name is River! I'm a 7 month old, spayed female Chihuahua mix that currently weighs 11lbs., but as I am still growing, I could be between 15 to 20 lbs. as an adult. I'm a sweet and gentle little gal the starts of shy, but with time and patience I warm up. I'm very overwhelmed in new situations and would love to go home with a quiet family with teens and adults that is ready to help my find my footing in this big world.

You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
