This cup of Cocoa will comfort you for the rest of your life! A 10-year-old Jack Russell mix, Cocoa’s aged like a luxurious dark chocolate. She knows exactly who she is, and she’s not afraid to show it! Cocoa is a confident girl when out on walks and trots alongside you, happy as a clam. Cocoa is interested in greeting other dogs respectfully, and needs other dogs to maintain the same level of respect. If there are dogs that get too much in her face, she lets them know by saying “Hey! You’re in my face!” We appreciate that Cocoa is communicating with us so clearly that she does not want to play with those rambunctious youngsters. We hear you, Cocoa. We don’t force Cocoa to interact with other dogs if she doesn’t want to, but has been able to hang out in our dog park with fellow shelter residents of her similar size that were more on the chill side, and done great.
