This little Thomas is quite a treat! At 7 months of age, the world is his oyster—or train track, whichever works for you. Thomas needs some time to warm up and trust you, but a slow approach and ensuring reciprocal interactions (not forcing him) helps him grow his confidence. Also, treats of course! Thomas has played with fellow shelter residents of his similar size and has mingled well, not much of a romp-around player just yet, but maybe with the right crowd, like longtime friends, and not strangers. A true introvert at heart—I feel you, Thomas. Thankfully, the city doesn’t seem too new of a concept for Thomas, considering he came from our neighbor shelter San Francisco Animal Care & Control. Those he has met a few times, Thomas shows love with a nice greeting stretch and a wagging tail. We think Thomas would be an excellent addition to your home and your heart. What say you?
