My adoption fee has been sponsored!Nikki may be shy at first, but once she feels safe, she blossoms into a sweet, affectionate companion who loves being by your side for walks, playtime, and snuggles. She thrives in a home where someone is around most of the time and may also enjoy a playful dog sibling.Nikki is great with people (kids included! She's made good progress with her alone time, especially with the TV on and a few comfort items (slippers included-don't worry, she just carries them). With short practice sessions, she's learning to relax when her people step out.At night, Nikki chooses her favorite spot-sometimes the bed, a cozy crate, or the sofa to keep an eye on the neighborhood. She shows her affection with gentle mouthing and play but listens well to "drop it."Nikki will do best in a home where she can be part of daily life, with people who enjoy both activity and downtime.
