This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Meet Nixon Nuzzle - a 7 week old, English Setter / Boxer / Hound (maybe Basenji / Bulldog) mix, who weighs about 5 pounds (as of 7/10/25). Nayla Nuzzle Momma gave birth to 9 happy & healthy pups on 5/20/25 and her babies are now ready to find their forever families. Momma is a sweet girl who weighs about 45 pounds fully grown (picture attached for reference).

The NUZZLE litter's motto is: eat, play, sleep! They are growing each day and learning what it means to be a good puppy. They love exploring their little world and are starting to venture more and more and are learning about everything the world has to offer! Since they were born in foster care, they are very well socialized and are great with children. They will need families who are committed to their training since they are still young. They're excited to find their forever families and can't wait to meet you!

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
