Are you ready for a dog with a really cool look, a big personality, and lots of energy? Then Goofy Gilbert is your boy! This guy likes to keep moving and is always looking for the next adventure. Goof is a very friendly dog and loves meeting new people. He enjoys taking long sniffy walks and splashing around in the water. Here at the shelter, he has been working hard on his leash manners and greeting people politely. Goofy Gilbert is starting to get the hang of it! That is because he is a smart boy and he loves the yummy training treats. He is hoping for patient adopters that will continue this training and the training treats, of course. He will also need lots of physical and mental stimulation as he practices these good manners. Goof could possibly live with a well-matched dog friend or children who could help with his training. Since this guy wants to chase cats, he probably should not live with a cat in the future. Goofy Gilbert is a fun, silly dog who is in search of a family. Would you like to meet him?

Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
