Meet Lloyd
Meet LloydThis sweet, shy boy is a true foodie at heart! Once Lloyd feels safe and settled, his goofy, playful side starts to shine through.
Lloyd is still learning to feel comfortable in the world—new people, places, and changes in routine can be overwhelming for him.
It’s likely he didn’t get enough early socialization as a pup, so he needs a patient, understanding adopter who can go at his pace, advocate for him, and never push him before he’s ready.
He would greatly benefit from a home with a calm, confident dog buddy—a well-mannered adult dog who can help show him the ropes but is also tolerant of some puppy-like antics.
Lloyd can live with respectful kids who are able to follow directions and understand the importance of petting consent and giving him space when he needs it.
With love, time, and the right support system, Lloyd is sure to blossom into a loyal and fun companion.
Stop by Northeast Animal Shelter to meet Lloyd. We have open adoption hours Mon- Wed 11:30am-5pm, Thu-Sun 11:30am-6pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.
Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
