The MANGO litter is ready to be your ZEST friend ever! They are ripe for snuggles, and always in season.

Mateo Mango and his siblings are 8.5 week old, German Wire-haired Pointer / Wire Fox Terrier mixes who were rescued in Tennessee after being found as strays. As of 6/23/25, Mateo Mango weighs 10 pounds.

His foster shares: "Mateo Mango is an adorably scruffy little puppy! He is friendly, happy, healthy and ready to find his forever family. He loves to roll in the grass and play with his toys. He is outgoing and pretty calm for being so young. He loves people (especially kids!) and other dogs, too. When he's not playing with his toys, he enjoys snuggling with his humans. He hasn’t learned to walk on a leash yet, but when he does, we know he will make a good walking buddy. He is getting lots of love while he waits for his forever home!"

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
