This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Summer Lovin' isn't happening so fast for these dogs....so in order get these pups loving homes to enjoy fun in the sun this summer we are offering a reduced adoption fee of $399 for our long posted dogs like this one!

Meet Gracie Giggle - a 2 yr old, Border Collie / Black Lab mix, who weighs 35 pounds (as of 12/8/24). This sweet girl was surrendered to us after her previous owner was arrested, and no one was able to care for her. This was no fault of her own, but we are here to help find her a happy home with a family who will love her unconditionally!

Her foster shares: "Gracie Giggle is very sweet, and is definitely a girl who is always on the go! She will make a great family dog with older kids, as she tends to be a jumper when she's excited. She does great with other dogs, and has done ok with cats. She's housetrained and walks well on the leash. Since she is always on the go, we would recommend an active person / family who can make Gracie Giggle their adventure buddy and show her all the world has to offer. She has lots of energy so she will need the right home / family to help meet her needs. It would be great if she had a yard where she could roam - but not required. She would also do great with other outside activities (walks, hikes, etc). As long as she’s getting attention and and exercise, she's going to be an amazing addition to your family!"

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
