Meet Goose
My adoption fee will be waived from June 23 – 29 as part of the AMERICA RUNS ON DOGGOS SUMMER RUFF-FRESHER EVENT!!!
Goose is a sweet dog looking for a family of his own. This guy is young, gentle and smart. And handsome, too! Get a load of those freckly ears! Although Goose can be hesitant with new people, once he knows you, he is very cuddly. This boy loves his sniffy walks and walks very nicely on leash. He also really enjoys walking or playing chase with his calm dog friends. He appears to be house trained, although he may need a quick refresher after his time at the shelter.
Goose seems to have lived a sheltered life prior to arriving here. He did not see many new places or people. He is hoping for adopters who will keep his bubble small at first while he settles in from his many recent transitions. Goose is selective about his dog friends, so he would need to meet any other dogs in the home ahead of time. He could possibly live with a cat using complete separation to start. Goose did live with a small child in his previous home, yet can take time to warm up to new people. The children would need to be old enough to read his body language and know if he wanted attention or not.
Would you like to meet Goose? He has it in him to become the most wonderful dog. Visit Goose at the MSPCA in Methuen 12PM to 4:30PM on Tuesdays through Sundays.
Stop by our Nevins Farm Adoption Center to meet Goose. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm- 4:30pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.
Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
