Meet Maverick
My adoption fee will be waived from June 23 – 29 as part of the AMERICA RUNS ON DOGGOS SUMMER RUFF-FRESHER EVENT !!!
Maverick has both brains and beauty. What a combination! Once she is comfortable with you, Maverick is sweet and silly. This good girl enjoys cuddling with her good friends, going for walks, giving swishy tail wags and getting shoulder rubs. Maverick has quickly learned what our clicker training is all about and the Sit command. Who know what she will learn next! She appears to be house trained, although she may need a quick refresher after her time at the shelter.
Maverick lived a sheltered life prior to arriving here. She did not see many new places or people. She is hoping for a family that can slowly and carefully expose her to the rest of her new world. This pretty girl could possibly live with a calm dog. Or with a cat using complete separation to start. She did live with a child previously and did well. The children would need to be old enough to read her body language and know if she wanted attention or not.

Stop by our Nevins Farm Adoption Center to meet Maverick. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm- 4:30pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.
Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
