Meet Styles
My adoption fee will be waived from June 23 – 29 as part of the AMERICA RUNS ON DOGGOS SUMMER RUFF-FRESHER EVENT !!!
Styles is a sweet, sniffy hound on the hunt for his forever home! A true foodie at heart, he is always ready to work for treats and enjoys training sessions that let him use his brain and his nose. Styles is a fan of relaxed leash walks where he can take in all the smells, and he enjoys spending time with his people once he feels comfortable.
He can be a little shy at first, so hell need an adopter who is patient and willing to let Styles come out of his shell at his own pace. He does best when people let him initiate affection and give him space when he asks for it.
Styles is still learning about dog friendships and can be particular about his canine companions. He could possibly live with another dog who is a good match and who respects his boundaries. He might also do well with a cat friend, given a slow, thoughtful introduction. Styles could live with children who are able to respect his cues, give him choice around petting, and participate in his training using positive reinforcement.
With a little time to settle in and someone who is committed to understanding his signals, Styles will make a wonderful, loyal companion.
Want to meet Styles? Visit the MSPCA at Nevins Farm in Methuen Tuesday-Sunday 12PM-4:30PM.
Stop by our Nevins Farm Adoption Center to meet Styles. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm- 4:30pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.
Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
