Meet Frodo, a champagne-colored sweetheart with fur so velvety you won’t want to stop petting him! This gentle guy is a cuddle bug at heart and always down for snuggling up after a good romp with his favorite stuffed toy.
We don’t know much about Frodo’s past, but he’s shown us he’s ready to start fresh with a kind and patient adopter by his side. He’ll need a little time and space to adjust to a new home—quiet routines, low-pressure introductions, and the freedom to go at his own pace will help him feel safe and secure.
Frodo is looking for someone who will let him settle in gently, pay attention to his signals, and help him build trust one day at a time. In return, you’ll get a soft, snuggly companion who’s full of potential and heart.
If you’ve got a cozy space, a gentle presence, and a soft spot for dogs who need a little extra TLC, Frodo might be the perfect match.
Stop by Northeast Animal Shelter to meet Frodo. We have open adoption hours Mon- Wed 11:30am-5pm, Thu-Sun 11:30am-6pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.
Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
