Hi there! My name is Beau and I'm a 7-month-old, neutered Belgian Malinois mix. I'm a growing boy that will be around 60lbs as an adult. My friends here at PHS say I'm everything you would expect from a Malinois puppy; energetic, playful, and eager to learn! Like all Malinois, I need a structured training and exercise routine. I am looking for a family that has experience with working breed dogs like myself and is willing to continue my training and take me on adventures. I've entered my "baby shark" phase, so I prefer to live with adults and teens until I have better manners. I'm very smart and have been known to pick up new skills quickly. Please be sure to bring the entire household, including any resident dogs, to meet with me prior to adding me to the family. Since I’m not at the adoption center, you can make arrangements to meet me by submitting your fully completed Adoption Profile Form to adoptinquire@peninsulahumanesociety.org and a staff member will call you to conduct a phone interview before making an appointment to meet me in person. You must be 18 or older to submit a profile.

You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
