Meet Eureka
Meet Eureka, an 8-month-old mixed breed sweetheart who loves sunshine, snuggles, and staying close by your side. She’s playful, curious, and always ready to hand out kisses!
Eureka enjoys short bursts of play, cozy midday naps, and every mealtime — she’s got a big appetite and an even bigger heart.
She’s doing a great job learning her potty training skills in foster and is picking up the routine quickly.
This friendly pup adores people, does great with dog-savvy kids who don’t mind a bouncy pup, and walks nicely on leash.
She’s practicing how to keep all four paws on the floor when she’s excited (it’s just hard to contain all that love!).
When left alone, Eureka relaxes quietly with her toys and some music — a very good girl.
If you’re looking for a sweet, sunny sidekick, Eureka just might be your gal!
Stop by Northeast Animal Shelter to meet Eureka. We have open adoption hours Mon- Wed 11:30am-5pm, Thu-Sun 11:30am-6pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.
Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
