Who is this handsome hunk, you may ask? He is known around these parts as Yuko! Yuko is a striking young man who is at the beginning of his training journey, and has been building a great foundation since he’s been at the shelter. He is asking for a very patient adopter who is excited to join him in his training journey using positive reinforcement methods. Yuko is spunky, playful, and enjoys meeting new people while out on walks. He is a lot of dog wrapped up in a meatball package. He could potentially live with a very dog-savvy cat after a slow introduction process or children who are okay with a rowdy dog and can participate in training. We recommend that children come into the shelter to meet Yuko during the adoption process. Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they’re interested in – and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
